HARLINGEN -- Marines Promotions is welcoming back a familiar face, and it is one every boxing fan will remember well.

 

Weslaco’s Robert “La Amenaza” Garcia (27-2, 20 KO’s) returns home as he once again reunites with his uncle Julio Marines and will fight in the Rio Grande Valley for the first time since November of 2007.

 

“I feel like I am starting off 2010 with a fresh start,” said Garcia. “It is great to be home again and with my family. During the time I was away from them, I felt alone and knew something was missing.”
